Honorable Steve Collier, Mayor of the City of Lawrence, had a beautiful day this week for his golf outing fundraiser. Participating from Triad Associates were Sam Robertson, P.E., Lou Savka, President, Jacob Ogonek, EIT, and Jonathan Moen, P.E., and Vice-President of Triad. On September 20th, INDOT announced the communities to be awarded funding for their 2017 Community Crossings grant applications. Congratulations to all the cities, towns, and counties that will benefit from these funds. Jonathan Moen, P.E., transportation engineer at Triad, submitted several grant applications. Seven Triad clients received funding, the Towns of Arcadia, Ingalls, Schneider, Shirley, Upland, Wolcottville, and the City of Ligonier.
Josh Chapman, a graduate of Trine University in Angola, is Triad’s newest hire. Josh earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Environmental Engineering in May of 2016. Triad Associates is seeking a professional engineer licensed in the state of Indiana with experience in wastewater and water. The ideal candidate must have experience in the design of new wastewater and water systems primarily in the municipal field as well as the ability to troubleshoot wastewater and water treatment systems, design upgrades, and improvements. Must be willing to attend meetings with clients, attend evening council meetings, and be able to present project scope and plans to the community.Experience with communication, correspondence, documentation and permitting with the state and federal oversight agencies in the wastewater and water arena is required.
