Title: Civil Engineer
Duties: Perform engineering work on all phases of municipal water/wastewater/stormwater projects, including conceptual/feasibility evaluations, preparation of design drawings and specifications, development of contract documents, bidding assistance, and support of construction engineering services. Design potable water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution systems, collection systems of wastewater, and stormwater runoff. Develop or review site development plans, site drainage plans, and erosion control plans. Prepare civil engineering exhibits and design drawings. Build hydraulic models of water and wastewater collection or treatment systems with various modeling tools to assist project design. Provide technical direction or supervision to junior engineers, field inspectors or computer-aided design (CAD) technicians, or other technical personnel. Perform field observations and oversee project constructions.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering; 2 years’ experience in job offered.
