Our Story
Professional engineers Thomas Schubert and James Frazell founded Triad Associates, Inc. in 1975 to help communities address their infrastructure needs, predominately in water and wastewater design. As our civil engineering firm grew, we added services such as architecture and landscape design to better serve our municipal clients.

Triad Associates’ headquarters is on the grounds of Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis, and we also have a satellite office in Goshen, Indiana. Our central location allows us to work on projects throughout Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan, providing the following services:

Our professionals have designed a variety of projects for cities and towns of all sizes. We begin every project by listening to the client’s needs and goals, and then we develop engineering solutions that are a good fit for the community — and the project budget.
Architecture
Triad Associates branched out into architecture to ensure that we were meeting all of our clients’ needs. Since then, our projects have included designing a variety of public facilities and renovating historic buildings for multi-family housing reuse.

Our firm’s mission has always been to develop long-lasting relationships with communities based on trust and service. We work with clients to brainstorm solutions, get them down on paper, finalize designs, and see them through to completion.
